What is Phycocyanin

Phycocyanin is a natural blue colorant, pure natural extract from Spirulina, it is the main part of the spirulina blue color, it is protein combined pigment, has the same character with protein.

1. Good soluble in water: We can see blue granule or powder with our naked eyes, It is water-soluble It is absolute a natural pigment abstracted from the sporus of Spirulina Arthorspira platenis by modern biotechnology
2. Has a slightly sweet taste and is a bright blue, transparent with fluorescence characteristic, unstable in heat and precipitated under ph4.5 because of the protein bonding pigment unstable in light.
